CHURCH CONFIRMATION AT RWENTANGA PARISH, ANKOLE DIOCESE
On the blessed and wonderful day of Monday 29th October 2012, at Rwetanga parish, there was a confirmation ceremony. The guest of honor was the bishop of Ankole diocese who did the ceremony before the church service. As a chief guest, he was informed of the progress in the community and the church, and of other organizations and ministries that were recently introduced in their community. That’s where Harvest Hands International comes in.
After the service, the bishop and the church leaders came down to our farm to see what Harvest Hands is really doing. Guided by Jonas, one of our team leaders who answered all their questions, they inspected the maize farm and they were impressed with what they saw.
Harvest Hand’s mission is to work with people that are disadvantaged and vulnerable, putting Jesus at the centre of the work, and forming partnerships, programs, projects and small business enterprises which transform local communities to provide for themselves and give witness to God’s love and presence.
